Mountain-style Raclette burger recipe

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 4 bakery-fresh hamburger buns
  • 4 thick slices of Raclette
  • 4 slices of smoked bacon
  • 4 butcher-style beef steaks
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 200g mushrooms
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 4 sucrine lettuce leaves
  • 15g butter
  • Olive oil
  • Barbecue sauce
  • salt, pepper

Preparation

Slice the mushrooms and the shallot.

Fry them for a few minutes in a pan with a dash of olive oil and a pinch of butter.

Reserve.

Finely slice the yellow onion.

Fry it over low heat in another pan.

Once it is translucent, add the sugar and caramelize.

Reserve.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Slice each hamburger bun into two.

Toast them for 5min.

Fry the beef steak in a very hot pan.

Season with salt and pepper.

Turn them over, place a slice of Raclette on top, and cover the pan with a lid.

In another pan, fry the bacon slices for a few minutes until they are golden brown.

 

To serve:

Spread a small amount of barbecue sauce on the flat surface of each bun, and top each one with a leaf of sucrine lettuce, caramelized onions, and the beef steak 
with the cheese.

Finish by adding a slice of bacon and the mushrooms.

Close the buns and enjoy immediately!

To enable the cheese to melt more quickly, place it on the hamburger steak while it is in the frying pan and cover the pan with a lid. Leave to cook for a few minutes.
